Vancouver Island Salmon Fishing offers some of the best angling opportunities for Chinook and Coho Salmon found anywhere in the world. If you have the time and money you can travel up the west coast to remote fishing lodges and spend thousands of dollars for a multi-day trip. For those people looking for a shorter trip but do not want to compromise the quality of fishing, scenery or experience, we have the perfect fishing vacation for you.

The Gulf Islands are located in the Strait of Georgia, just a short 1 hour boat ride from downtown Vancouver. We offer daily trips departing from the Delta Airport Hotel which are usually 8 -10 hours in duration. If you prefer to slow things down a bit and take advantage of the great fishing, we now offer overnight stays in beautiful Ocean view cabins located just minutes from the best fishing grounds in the Gulf Islands.

May & June are the two best months to experience the great fishing in the Gulf Islands. The Chinook Salmon are migrating past this area heading for their home waters. The fishing is some of the most consistent found anywhere around Vancouver, almost always providing good action for Chinook in the 15 to 25 lb range. This area is also very good for ground fish such as ling and rock cod as well as crab and prawns.
