STS Guiding Service has been providing quality fishing charters and vacations since 1994, established by Vic and Teresa Carrao, STS has evolved from a single guide and boat to a team of some of the most skilled, talented and dedicated fishing guides in the Vancouver region. Year round we carry a Team of angling guides include 4 full time & 4 part time guides who specializing in Salmon Fishing in the Vancouver area. These guides have fished the waters around Vancouver most of their lives and are considered some of the best angling guides in the Province. We specialize in Vancouver Saltwater Salmon Fishing and Freshwater Salmon, trout and Sturgeon fishing.

Safety and comfort are of great importance while spending time on any water, Our guides boats are some of the best built boats in the industry and all guides boats are Transport Canada Certified as required by Canadian Law. Our guides are fully licensed by Ministry of Environment, trained and certified by British Columbia St John First Aid, and carry Marine Emergency Duties training. Some guides also carry Small Vessel Operators Proficiency which is required by law for anyone carrying 6 or more passengers or guiding in the Saltwater.

Dedication

CEO and head guide Vic Carrao has been an industry leader since the early 90's. Involved in the community, conservation and guiding industry Vic has been instrumental in building the Fraser Valley as a world class fishing destination. Vic is currently president of the Fraser Valley Angling Guide Association and sits on several working groups dedicated to salmon and sturgeon such as the Sport fishing advisory committee, Sturgeon Technical Recovery Team, Director of the Sport Fishing Institute of British Columbia, Member of the Fraser River Salmon Table and sits on various Sub Committees. STS Guiding is also committed and supports the Fraser River Sturgeon Conservation Society by tagging thousands of White Sturgeon since 1994. Vic is also involved in the local community of Mission serving the past 4 years as Director of business for the Mission Harbour Authority and chairing the Waterfront improvement committee.

Community & Location

Our main office is located just outside Vancouver in the town if Mission. Mission is the head quarters for our river based operations on the Fraser River as well as our Saltwater Fishing Charters from Vancouver. Our Vancouver Saltwater fishing charters are based from The Delta Airport Hotel located across the street from the Vancouver Airport. Our boats are moored right beside the Delta Hotel near the PIER 73 RESTAURANT. This full service facility not only offers quick and easy access to some of the Best Fishing In Vancouver but also offers great access to both the south arm and north arm of the Fraser where salmon fishing is at its best during summer months.
